施洪斯：Of curse my boss wants to know what I am or what we are doing. He checked seriously our weekly work report. Every three month we have a meeting with our bosses and we have to report about our work in positive and in negative. Until now, I could only report in a positive way about our relation to Huatie and I hope this will be until the end of our contract and may also for future work together.

　　当然，上级领导对于本人的工作情况需要了解。每周项目上的周工作记录表，上级领导均认真审阅。每三个月各级领导碰头，召开一次季度会议。届时，本人进行工作汇报，报告内容涵盖工作业绩的同时也包括出现的问题。目前为止，同华铁工程咨询公司的合作积极、良好。希望双方将良好的合作保持到项目结束，并在将来长远的合作中继续这种态势。

　　笔　者：您所在的德铁国际公司有多少人？员工年龄是否偏大？年龄偏大在国际监理业中是共有特征吗？

　　施洪斯：In Germany, Supervisors are much younger. As you know, Clients in Asia like to have experts with at least 20 to 25 years experiences. Now you can calculate and think about the foreign Supervisors age.

DB-international as daughter of the German Railway (Deutsche Bahn) is counting ca 250 Engineers as permanent staff. In China, we have approximately 40 Engineers working in different projects.

In Germany, the situation is similar to China. The Client has his own Supervisors. If he needs more or he needs specialists, then he ask private consultants to assist him for a project or for a known period.

As a.m. the supervisors work can be done by the Client or by extern experts. Important is only the result at the end of the project.

　　笔　者：在我看来，您是位慈祥的老人，如此高龄还远涉重洋，是在寻找工作的乐趣？还为了一次经济的国际旅行？

　　施洪斯：I have no time to see and to enjoy your beautiful country. Usually I am working 6-7 days per week. For my self, the work and the result of the work is the most important part. I am in China as advisor for all involved parties. If we have finished this project without any bad accident, in good quality, in the planned time and in the budget, then I am satisfied with my work, then the constructions have always the first priority.

　　由于工作时间紧张（每周需工作6-7天），时至今日尚未有机会参观美丽的中国。但对我个人而言，工作本身和工作结果是处于第一位的。作为所有参建单位的建议者，如果我可以按照工程质量的要求，无任何安全事故、同时按照计划时间、根据预算的安排完成项目，我将对自己的工作表示满意。所以任何时候，现场都是处于第一位的。
